Speechless



Speechless!


Are you not the Almighty One?

Are you not the Gracious One?

I bow at Your Throne oh Holy One.

Lifting my voice,

Lifting my heart,

Lifting my head,

Lifting my all 

…in adoration and worship.


There is No One Greater!

There is No One more Glorious!

There is No One more Excellent!

There is No One more Perfect!


And, here am I.

A little soul out of billions and billions,

With the privilege of laying my life before You.

With the honour of living for You.

With the delight of serving You.


Almost unimaginable!

Me, little me, honoured with being Your

Worshipper

Lover

Servant

Incredible!


This leaves me now… 

Speechless

Awed

Utterly Astonished

Utterly Astounded.

Privileged

Speechless

And now…Silent

On Holy Desire

It is I who desires God?   Or is it God who desires me? “Hunger for God will not go unanswered, because it is a gift from God.  Our longing is already an answer from our heart as it is stirred by God’s Spirit.  No one who seek God fails to find God, because she or he is already found by God.  In seeking we are found.  In longing we express God’s desire, God’s longing evoking our own.” The soul speaks: ‘God, you are my lover, My longing. My flowing stream. My sun. And I am your reflection.’ God answers: ‘It is my nature that makes me love you often, For I am love itself. R.I.P

About a week ago I had breakfast with a dear friend of mine who is a missionary in Russia.  He told me the following interesting story. His daughter was involved in street evangelism in Russia.  She, along with other youth, carried clipboards and were doing surveys.  One of the questions they asked was this: “Do you believe in heaven and hell, and if so, where will you spend eternity.”  Ninety-five percent of the people interviewed responded along these lines:  ‘Yes I believe in heaven and hell!  I will spend eternity in hell because I am such an awful sinner.’ Now this same daughter moved to Canada and organized the same kind of outreach doing the same thing, asking the same question:  “Do you believe in heaven and hell, and if so, where will you spend eternity.”  Ninety-five percent of the people interviewed responded along these lines:  ‘Yes I believe in heaven and hell!  I will spend eternity in heaven because I am a go...
