The Story of my life

As we are joined “in Christ” through that union with Him, we are journeying back to God on a sacred journey.

Indeed, the entire world is on a sacred journey that tells us a sacred story.  ONE day. The world itself will be reconciled back to innocence

2 Peter 3:10-13 (NIV) 10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare. Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming. That day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat. But in keeping with his promise, we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells.

The “Christ of the Cosmos” loved us so powerfully, He came down into the midst of all sin and debauchery— the self-story, the false-story— to reconcile humanity and the world back to God.

To rewrite the script of a sacred story through admitting we are powerless to save ourselves!

"My participation in Christ’s work of reconciliation is the only worthy vocation and the only labor that produces fruit enduring to eternity. My accepting the invitation unlocks the very mystery of life.  When I accept the invitation, Christ promises to share His universal glory. Accepting the invitation to intentionally enter my sacred story has momentous consequences.”

So my journey is one of:

  1. Surrender.
  2. A life of waking up from the dead.  Of coming to life.
  3. Participating with the Spirit of God,  who is rewriting my sacred story.
